Awesome Party

A week ago, I went to a birthday party. It was a laser tag party. If you don't know what laser tag is, let me explain. Every player has this gun that shoots laser and so the point of the game is to shoot people's sensors. The sensors are on your hip and shoulders. So after you hit a person you get points, but if you get hit you can't shoot for 5 seconds. So that's how you play.

When you get there you make up your own codename. Mine was Yoda; one of my friend's is Michael Jackson. You put on suits with sensors. Then we were led into this maze place with 2 stories. So in the maze we shoot poeple for an action packed 20 minutes. It was so awesome. They call your name and give you your scorecard when 20minutes is over. I didn't do that well. But anyway that was an awesome party.

If I Took Over the US ...

If I took over the US and became this insanely powerful dictator, life would be pretty fun. I would highly encourage vegetarianism so that for most part, people would stop becoming obese (unless they feasted on cheese and dairy products). And we wouldn't have to kill so many animals. The only problem with encouraging vegetarianism is that kids would probably hate me. Oh well, you can't make everyone happy.

In addition, I would also run programs to motivate people to use public transit, walk, bike, and carpool to work or school. If people didn't use alternate form of transportation, I would pass laws to make them use it. This would create a cleaner, better environment.

Also, I would require kids (starting from age 11) do a minimum 15 hours of community service a year. They will have to fill in forms and have them signed by people they did service for. Although I'm not sure how I will force them to do it. Kids could earn awards for doing extra hours of service. I think doing something like this would help make kids more caring people and give them a sense of accomplishment.

Now that I think about it, I don't think I would ever want to be in charge of such a gigantic country or any country for that matter. I would probably get premature wrinkles and gray hair from trying to solve everyone else's problems. So it probably won't be very fun.

Shopping is hard

I wrote this on February 16, 2009 and never post it. So I am doing it now ...

I have spent the last few weekends going from store to store with my mom looking for appropriate wedding attire (Ailey's wedding). Which is, by the way, really difficult. Last weekend we went to Nordstrom Rack,I tried on two dresses, my mom choose them both. One of them was a hideous (in my opinion) baby pink dress with big ruffles on the bottom and chocolate polka dot bows on the straps. Eww... Another was a midnight blue dress with a black velvet polka dotted skirt that reached my knees. After that we went to TJMAXX but found nothing that was in my size.

So this weekend we decided to go shopping...again. But this time we brought Neil and Guama along. Neil is known for not being the most patient shopper. So naturally after a fairly quick (30 minutes) stop at Ann Taylor's. He was ready to fall asleep with boredom. He wasn't very happy with it.

One of Neil's favorite burger places in Washington state.

One of my favorite burger places is Dick's. It good because the burgers aren't giant they're more snack size. Also, the cheese they put on your burger is not your regular cheddar,it's american cheese. When your at Dick's you never really have to spend to much time picking or deciding usually because there's only 4 burgers you can choose from. They also have very reasonable prices. That is why Dick's is in my top 10 burger places. So if you ever come bring me there with you.It is located in broadway and close to Key Arena.
